Ceren Zeytinoğlu Atıcı, Project Lead of the Global AI Alliance for Climate Action, a joint initiative of the Toronto-based AI research institute Vector Institute and the Turkish Informatics Foundation, will discuss the opportunities artificial intelligence offers in addressing the climate crisis.
Ceren will explore how AI models can be translated into practical climate solutions in areas such as improving energy efficiency, predicting disasters, and protecting biodiversity.
The talk will also highlight Ceren’s work with Pale Blue AI, which she co-founded in Canada, and Clean AI, exploring new approaches at the intersection of artificial intelligence, climate, and social impact.
